The Millionaire Mindset for Sales Presentations

How could the millionaire salespersons make you feel this way? Why are the millionaire salespersons so motivated? If we dig down to the very basic, it is their mindsets that drive their behaviors.  Salespersons that have the right mindset are confident.  They are passionate about what they are doing.  And, they are always able to excel and achieve challenging sales targets.  Here is a list of mindset that creates millionaire salespersons.

Nothing is impossible

Look at how Olympic athletics keep breaking the world records.  They are pushing human limits and achieving impossible goals every time.  The fact is that nothing is impossible if we are being persistence. In the sales profession, this means going for the extra miles and be persistence.  Never give up when your prospects are rejecting your proposals.  Be prepared to follow up and provide more values to your prospects.  There are always possibilities to close the sales in every deal. 

The rewards are for those who think they must achieve them and not those who want to achieve them

The million-dollar monthly commission target can only be achieved by those who 100% believe they are totally capable and will do anything to achieve them.  Everybody wants to reach the million-dollar monthly commission target but only the very small percentage that has the strongest desire will be able to do it.  The desire to achieve sales target should be so strong that it becomes an important element of your life.  You should be thinking about ways to achieve the target even when you are sleeping, eating and doing exercise.  This desire to succeed will be able to help you solve any obstacles you will face to close your deals.

Think big

How motivated and passionate would you feel in the following two scenarios?

a. Closing a few small deals and receive two thousand dollars commission every month
b. Closing fifty deals (big and small) and receive one million dollars commission every month

The key to make yourself more passionate about your jobs is to set more challenging goals and think big.

Everybody is equal

Some salespersons would freak out when meeting company CEOs or dealing with million-dollar deals. One thing to remember is that everybody is equal.  We are all human beings.  Most importantly, we are not begging our prospects to buy our products.  We are helping them and giving them a hand.

Focus on the opportunities, not the problems

Millionaire salespersons see opportunities in problems.  Poor salespersons see problems in opportunities.  You choose.

Customers naturally reject deals

Customers naturally tend to think that salespersons are always trying to get their money into their own pockets.  They have the natural tendency to reject deals.  There is no need to feel discouraged when your customers turn you down.  Simply follow up and be persistence.

Customers have the authority to turn down any deals without telling you the true reasons

There is always a reason why your customers are turning down your deals.  As a sales professional, all we need to do is to find out the reason behind and solve the customers’ concerns. 

Keep these things in mind and I am sure your mindset will improve your performance in sales presentations. 

Fake it before you make it (mentally)

A lot of times salespersons feel that they are lacking certain skills and things in their lives that could make them a millionaire salesperson.  The advice is to simply fake it before you have it.  Think as if you already have the skills, clients, capital and any other supports.  You will eventually get there as you confidently work towards that goal.

100% committed to loving your products

Imagine if your products and services have the highest quality and lowest price in the market.  How would you behave differently? We must fall in love with our products and services in order to transfer our message and emotion to our customers.

Enjoy the sales work

Enjoy your job!  A lot of people misunderstand what a salesperson do.  In fact, a lot of salespersons do not even understand why they end up in this profession.  Remember! We are not here to sell products and services.  We are here to help our customers.  We are here to give our customers a hand.  We are here to help our customers solve their problems.  We are here to change the world!
