PowerPoint Tutorial:  Entrance Custom Animation Part I - On-Click Animation

This presentation tip is in the category:  PowerPoint Tutorials - Animation

This can be applied to the title, a single bullet point, a paragraph or a picture on your slide.  The Entrance animation would trigger these things to appear on your page.

The following is an example for making a bullet point appears when clicking the mouse.

Step 1: Select the specific text.  Right click on it and choose “Custom Animation”.

Step 2: You will see the “Custom Animation” column appear on the right hand side.  Now, click on the “Add Effect” button and choose “Entrance”.  A list of your recently used animation effect will appear.  You can simply click and apply the animation effect to your slide if it is on the list.  Otherwise, click on “More Effects” to view other available effects.

Step 3: You can preview the effect as you select the specific animation.  Simply click the “OK” button at the bottom when you have selected the one you want.

The animation is now successfully added to the selected text.  The text will appear if you click on your mouse during a slide show.

Here is how it will look in the slide show.  The text will not be shown on the page initially.

After you have clicked on your mouse, the text will appear.
