Robin Sharma’s Giant Advice for Success

This presentation tip is in the category:  Motivational Speech

10 Minute Talk By Robin Sharma on Leadership and Personal Success

Robin Sharma started his speech for Leadership and Personal Success with the following poem:

“The spring has passed.
The summer has gone.
And the winter is here.
And, the song I meant to sing remained on the side and I have spent my days stringing and stringing my instruments.”

This poem was written by a person who always ready to sing the great song and pursue his dream but never did until the moment he died.  He just got busy being busy and missed out the great song of his life.  Robin Sharma advise people to go ahead with their dreams and not spending time doing things that are wasting their time.  Here is a list of some key points Robin Sharma made in this video:

• Spend time talking with people’s lives you want to live in – surround yourself with people you admire.
• Execution and action is more than idealization and perfect plans.
• Every dream starts here.  Move forward step by step.
• Keep thinking.  Don’t do something that shouldn’t be done.
• If it is easy to be extra-ordinary and excellent, everyone would be there!  Founder of Amazon.com once said “I knew if I have failed, I wouldn’t regret.  But, I do know the one thing that I would regret is to not try”.

Robin Sharma advises everyone to keep dreaming and pursuing what they want to do.

The ability to chose and respond to and process any events that happen to us.

We can look for some good to anything that happen to us
Or, we could be haunted by what’s bad.

Everything can be taken away from a man but one thing, the last human freedom: to choose one’s attitude to give and set the circumstances; to choose one’s way.

“Face Fear Fast” – By World-Class Success Coach, Robin Sharma

The other side of your fear lives your possibility.  Don’t run away from your fear but towards it.

Fear is a portal into your best life, professional success, evolution and growth of a human being and creating possibilities and where you life is meant to be.

“Concentrate to Win” – Robin Sharma

Concentration is the best time-management skill.  Devote your time to only one object would help you to succeed.  Stick to your most important priorities!

Personal Development Tools from Robin Sharma

Before someone dies, people tend to ask themselves the following three questions:

1. Have I lived wisely?
2. Have I loved well?
3. Have I served greatly?

To achieve the purpose of not feeling regretful, Robin Sharma suggests that we should all live our lives in an authentic way.  In the macro level, make sure you are not wasting time and not pursuing what you want to do.  On the other side, be practical.  Make sure you reserve some time every morning to set priorities and daily goals.

One should always try to make sure their works are impactful.  Focus on adding values to others than simply making money.
